We hold social activities throughout the year, including BBQs, quiz nights and theme events. Drinks are at ‘Club prices’ in our pleasant, friendly Pavilion bar (below)

BAR NOTES
The bar is now being run primarily as an enjoyment for members after their tennis.
At present bar management is undertaken by Ian Livermore (ian@edcomava.co.uk). Team captains and some committee members also have keys.
The new opening times are:
Mondays and Wednesdays
8.15-
Tuesdays and Thursdays
8.45 -
(but usually NOT OPEN if bad weather prevents play)
Sundays 12-
As always the bar can be hired by members for social and private events on Saturday
evenings and Sunday late afternoons and evenings. Contact Ian Livermore -

Hiring & Booking
As a member of Purley Bury Tennis you can book the Bar for the enjoyment of your family & friends, as long as you are in attendance and take responsibility, on:

We normally require one month’s notice for a booking especially if a Bar extension is required; however we will always try to fit you in if possible, so please feel free to ask.
Staff & Opening Times
Our standard Bar Licence permits us to open in the evenings
until 11pm (Sunday’s 10:30pm), extensions are permitted subject to approval. We provide
full Bar Staff and after-
Music
We have a CD player (which can be connected to an IPod). However please feel
free to arrange a Disco, Karaoke or Entertainer (subject to approval).
Drinks, Snacks and Meals
All drinks must be purchased from the bar.
Bar Snacks and Speciality Cakes can be arranged.
Please feel free to make your own arrangements for more ambitious meals. The tearoom
has a fridge, oven and microwave for your use.
