“Great News - Purley Bury Vets 2011 triumph in Division 5 !”

After a hard fought season with many challenges to be overcome (not least in getting our home match against South Croydon played and in the rain-affected tie at Weybridge), I am pleased to report that we won our division.

The climax of our season was the resounding victory over Ewell in our final match by 8 sets to 0.

I must say that it’s a pleasure to captain Purley Bury Vets and every member of the team always gives of their best. It’s really pleasing that the team’s consistent hard work has been rewarded.

I am sure the whole team  will agree that we can’t wait for Division 4 in 2012.
